Publishing & Sharing
Publish a report (and clear findings on hold)
Review a report, publish it, and approve any flagged findings that are holding it back.
Reports start as drafts. Drafts are private to you. Publishing makes a report final and ready to share.
Before you publish
- Choose View Report to preview exactly what your client will see.
- Check the client name, address and inspection date.
- Make sure your profile is complete: name, company, license, phone, logo and signature.
- For insurance forms, open Form Preview in the writer and check every page of the PDF.
Publish
- One report: open the report's gear icon on the property page and choose Quick Publish.
- Every report in the job: choose Publish All on the Reports tab, then confirm.
Findings on hold
If a report has flagged findings, publishing stops at Findings on hold. Review each flagged finding, then choose Publish now to approve and continue, or Back to reports to fix them first.
What changes after publishing
- The report gets a hosted link you can share, and its PDF is ready to download.
- Key identity fields, such as the property address, client and inspector, are locked to protect the report's integrity.
- Published reports and their PDFs are included in the property archive download.
You can still revise the content of a published report. See Revise a report after publishing.
Verify property records and professional requirements with the appropriate official source.More in Publishing & Sharing
