Rename, hide the header or delete a report
Use the report gear menu to rename a report, change its output settings, or delete it.
Each report card on the property page has a gear icon that opens the report's tools: Add Initials, Version History, Rebuild PDF, Quick Publish, Rename, Report Settings and Delete Report. This article covers the last three.
Rename a report
Choose Rename Report and enter a recognizable name, such as "Wind Mitigation, detached garage". Leave it blank to use the default report type name. Renaming doesn't change the Name on Report, the client name that appears on the report itself.
Report settings
Choose Report Settings to control what appears in the report output. Hide Report Header removes the standard header from the generated report. Choose Save Settings to apply it.
Delete a report
Choose Delete Report, then confirm.
- The report disappears from the property.
- Its hosted link stops working.
- Deleting a report doesn't refund the job or free up a credit for another property.
Deleted report data is kept for recovery. If you delete a report by mistake, contact support with the property address and report type, and we can restore it.
Deleting is rarely necessary. To change a report, edit it instead. Revisions are unlimited.
