Copy a template or import one from Spectora

Open My Templates from the menu. Templates you create there are private to your account.

Copy a built-in template

1. Under Copy an existing template, find the template, such as Residential Home Inspection, CCPIA Commercial, InterNACHI Commercial, Mold or Radon.
2. Enter a name in New copy name.
3. Choose Create editable copy.

The original template stays untouched, so you can always start over.

Import a Spectora template

1. Export your template from Spectora as an Excel workbook.
2. Under Import Spectora template, choose the file. XLS and XLSX files are accepted, including Spectora files named .xls that contain XLSX data.
3. Name the template and choose a report category: Full Home, Commercial, Mold, Radon or Other / Specialty.
4. Choose Import as private template.

Review the imported sections and comments before you use the template on a client report.

Use your template

Your private templates are listed under My private templates. Choose your template when you add a report to a property.
