Work from your phone with the mobile writer

InspectionPress works in your phone's browser. The mobile writer has the most complete editing experience, including camera tools built for on-site inspections.

Move a report from your computer to your phone

1. On your computer, open the property and choose Edit Report on any report.
2. A QR code appears under Edit on mobile for the best experience.
3. Scan it with your phone's camera.
4. Sign in to the same InspectionPress account on your phone.

The QR code doesn't bypass sign-in, so it's safe if someone else sees it. Choose Continue on desktop to keep working on your computer instead.

Turn off the reminder

Choose Don't show this again to stop the QR prompt. To bring it back, open Account settings and choose Reset all warnings under Dismissed warnings.

Tips for working on site

• Keep the screen awake during long sections, and keep your phone charged.
• Use the in-app camera to capture several photos in a row, then upload them together.
• You currently need a connection to save. In areas with poor signal, such as attics, capture photos and upload them when you have signal again.
