Who InspectionPress is for: inspectors, agents, appraisers and contractors
How each profession uses the same property job, and which tools require a professional qualification.
Every property job starts with the same research. What you do with it depends on your work.
| Profession | Typical use |
|---|---|
| Home inspectors | Full Home Inspection reports, Florida Four Point, Wind Mitigation and Roof Certification forms, with permits and evidence attached |
| Real estate professionals | Listing preparation, buyer research and client conversations using the branded Property Research Report and AI summaries |
| Appraisers | Supplemental property characteristics, sale history, legal descriptions and permit activity, exported for your own workflow |
| Contractors | Permit and project history, jurisdiction links, notes and photos while planning or documenting work |
Research is open to property professionals
Anyone using InspectionPress professionally can research a property and share the Property Research Report. It's a research reference, not an inspection, so present it that way.
Regulated forms need a qualified signer
Insurance and inspection forms, such as the Florida Wind Mitigation and Four Point forms, must be completed and signed by someone authorized for that specific form. Having the report writer in your account doesn't make you eligible. See Do I need a license? Who can sign regulated forms.
Not for homeowner self-certification
InspectionPress is for professionals. Homeowners can't use it to complete their own insurance forms. A homeowner can receive a finished report from their inspector.
